Mechanical docklevellers are manually operated loading bridges designed for locations without an electrical power supply. They function through a spring-assisted counterbalance system that allows the platform and hinged lip to be raised and positioned easily. Built into a suspended frame, they can accommodate tail-lift pits and comply with European safety standards (EN 1398, ZH 1/156).
