Collision Protection
Our Collision Protection System sets new standards for safety at loading bays, combining maximum reliability with intelligent design. Its unique functionality ensures protection for employees, vehicles, buildings, and equipment during every stage of loading and unloading.
When no truck is present, the system automatically positions itself 400–500 mm above the dock leveller, acting as a barrier and roll-off stop to prevent forklifts from accidentally driving off the ramp. If a truck reverses into the bay, the system also provides a survival space for individuals who may be caught in the danger zone.
The Collision Protection System offers multiple layers of security:
- Protects employees by acting as a physical barrier and safety buffer.
- Protects buildings by covering the full width of the bay and preventing trucks from damaging the facade, gates, and dock levellers.
- Protects vehicles by preventing costly damage to sensitive components such as lights, which are often struck at ramp height.
- Adjustable height ensures compatibility with swap bodies, containers, and refrigerated vehicles up to 1.70 m, eliminating the risk of overrun.
For specialised applications, such as fresh meat loading or temperature-controlled warehouses, the system allows truck doors to be opened only after the vehicle is in position, avoiding damage to walls, doors, and lighting. Unlike simple traffic light systems, the Nani Collision Protection System delivers 100% safety and reliability where it matters most.
