Dock Drain
Roof-Mounted Drainage & Sealing System for Safer and Cleaner Loading Docks
The DockDrain PS sits almost flush with the truck roof, ensuring barrier-free access for forklifts.
A dry and functional loading dock increases safety, improves working conditions, and boosts productivity.
Protect your employees – protect your goods!

Roof-Level Water Catchment System
Positioned beneath the truck roof to capture rain and meltwater at the source.
Manual, Electric or Hydraulic Operation
Flexible adjustment options to suit your operation and budget.
Height & Width Adjustable
Adapts to all common truck sizes for a custom fit.
Compatible with Dock Shelters
Works best with four-sided inflatable shelters for maximum sealing efficiency.
The Problem
Even with door weather protection systems such as tarpaulin, cushion, or inflatable dock shelters, many loading docks experience rainwater ingress.
Water flows along the truck roof and enters the building.
The main reasons for this are:
Yard gradients – truck yards are often designed with a slight slope toward the ramp to prevent vehicles from rolling away accidentally.
Severe weather – heavy rain and strong wind can push water past the dock shelter and into the building.
Melting snow and ice on the truck roof also lead to water infiltration.
Scissor Lift Tables
The DockDrain works like a gutter, mounted on the inside edge of the truck roof area.
To fit all types and sizes of trucks, the DockDrain PS is adjustable in both height and width.
After the truck docks at the loading station, the DockDrain PS is manually positioned just beneath the truck roof.
During rainfall, the gutter effect channels the water to the sides of the loading dock, keeping the interior of the building dry.
When combined with a four-sided inflatable dock shelter, this system provides optimal sealing of the door opening.
