Manual Vehicle Restraint

Our Manual Vehicle Restraint System is a reliable and practical solution designed to prevent vehicles from moving away from the loading dock during loading and unloading operations. The system is manually operated and provides secure engagement with the vehicle’s rear wheel or ICC bar to ensure personnel safety and loading dock stability. It can be surface-mounted to a concrete dock yard slab and features a modular design with robust, hot-dipped galvanised steel construction.

When the restraint arm is in its home position, the vehicle’s path to the loading dock is clearly defined. The structure helps guide the vehicle onto the dock bumpers for accurate positioning. Once the vehicle is docked, the operative manually engages the restraint arm with the vehicle’s rear wheel to prevent movement. After loading or unloading is complete, the arm can be safely released and returned to its home position. The system is designed to be compatible with European trucks, with a focus on safety, simplicity, and reliability.
