The Telescopic Dock Shelter (T-TAD) protects personnel and goods from weather influences during loading and unloading operations.

This type of dock shelter is typically used at external loading ramps, where trucks may be loaded or unloaded either from the rear or from the side. The dock shelter consists of a front frame, a rear frame, and, depending on the tunnel length, one or more middle frames, all made of robust, hot-dip galvanised steel profiles.

The rear frame is mounted on the façade in front of the loading bay. The middle frames, together with the surrounding PVC tarpaulin, form the enclosed tunnel structure. The 3 mm thick PVC curtain aprons, reinforced with two fabric layers, are fitted into the front frame profiles, providing an excellent seal against the truck body. The side curtains feature yellow guide stripes to assist drivers during docking.

All frames are connected by parallel-guided articulated arms. The T-TAD can be operated either manually or equipped with an electric motor for convenient control.

The delivery includes the complete dock shelter with all mounting parts and sealing materials.
